Hello!
My name's Daniel and I’m a personal trainer in Edinburgh with over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry! I've dedicated my life to helping people get fitter, stronger, and more confident. My approach is simple - I tailor every session to your goals, keep the process enjoyable, and give you the tools to make lasting changes.

Whether you’re training for performance, aiming to lose weight, or just wanting to feel healthier in everyday life, I’ll be there to guide, challenge, and support you every step of the way.

I look forward to working with you to get you where you want to be!
My Story
My love of fitness started back in high school, where PE was my favourite class (and Sport & Leisure, which was basically an hour of football or dodgeball — I wasn’t complaining!). I played rugby for Biggar Rugby Club (see first photo!) and football for my school team, and I knew I wanted a career that involved sport.

I studied Sport & Exercise Science at Edinburgh Napier University, completing my degree while working as a fitness instructor at Virgin Active (now Nuffield Health). Before long, I earned my Level 3 Personal Training qualification and started building a diverse client base — from complete beginners to competitive athletes. Over the years, I discovered what I love most about this work: helping people realise they’re capable of far more than they thought.

When lockdown hit in 2020, I adapted by running garden sessions across Edinburgh with just a TRX, a few resistance bands, and a lot of determination. These sessions sparked an idea — to create my own brand and offer training that was flexible, personal, and accessible to everyone. That’s how Munro Fit was born.
Since then, I’ve gone fully self-employed, working with clients across the city in gyms, parks, gardens, and group classes. This is more than just a job for me — it’s my passion and my purpose.

Now, my goal is simple: help as many people as possible Reach Their Peak!
